Yellow Fever
It is seven years this
week since the yellow fever was at its height in
Corpus Christi.
On one of the days of that week there were fifteen deaths and burials. In
two cases only did any member of a family follow to the grave; in several
they did not even know when the victim was coffined and removed. That was a
fearful day and week.
