The mission of the Moss Center is to provide library materials, exhibits and programs which educate the community about the natural history of South Texas and Texas, past and present. A special emphasis is placed on birds and birding as the Corpus Christi area is in a major migratory flyway. The Moss Center features a collection of 400 books on birds and nature in South Texas & Texas, a monthly schedule of programs and exhibits, a media area with live feed images of birds in the area, and original artwork.
